JOB DESCRIPTION
The responsibility of this position is to exceed our customer’s expectations by providing excellent quoting, order processing and account management services. This position is an important voice to the customer on all facets of the quote and order processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
· Operates as point of contact for assigned customers
· Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
· Manages projects within customer relationships, working to carry out customer goals while meeting company goals
· Develops customer quotes using market knowledge and guidelines from Sales to apply mark ups
· Partners with Sales to provide customers with accurate quotes in a timely manner
· Processes purchase orders according to the customer’s requirements and specifications
· Services multiple customers concurrently with a goal to meet all customer deadlines
· Educates and assists Sales Reps and/or Management with any issues or problems that arise with orders
· Coordinates with all departments to ensure customers receive their orders on time and resolves order issues in a timely manner
· Responsible for contacting the customer and/or Sales if any additional information is needed or to communicate changes during the quote or order process
· Gathers data for Sale Reps for reporting purposes and quoting accuracy
· Responsible for following up on customer applications and accurately entering them into systems
· Completes Supplier Questionnaires for Sales and delegates questions to the correct department for assistance
· Monitors internal reports to be sure all orders are processing correctly
· Provides ideas and solutions to Management and/or IT to develop system and process efficiencies
· Assists Production and Operations with reporting and processing when necessary
· Enters data into CRM including customer and opportunity set ups
· Participates in lead generation strategies, such as calling potential business prospects
· Any other responsibilities that are deemed necessary by management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Minimum Requirements is High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two-year associate degree or four-year bachelor’s degree a plus.
Experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Windows operation required
· Understanding of math and volumes is required. Is proficient with basic math and can easily transpose formulas. Familiar with metric and American (or English) Standard systems
· At least one year of Customer Service experience required
· Understanding of and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other CRM system a plus
· Understanding of the utility pole business a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· This position will be a hybrid of on-location at our New Brighton, MN facility and remote
· Occasional travel may be required
· Position works with team members in the New Brighton, MN facility as well as customers/employees spread throughout North America and Canada
